Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: October 27, 2026

Welcome to MadeGeeks!

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for using our website, madegeeks.com, and engaging our professional website design, development, and related digital services.

At MadeGeeks, our goal is simple: to make building a professional website easier for businesses. We combine modern technology, artificial intelligence (AI), creativity, and hands-on expertise to deliver complete digital solutions.

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you acknowledge these Terms and Conditions. Specific project obligations become binding when both parties agree to a proposal, contract, or service agreement.

1. Our Services

MadeGeeks provides digital services that may include:

  • Website strategy and planning
  • UI/UX design and website development
  • AI-assisted content creation and copywriting
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • E-commerce website development
  • Custom web application development
  • Website redesign and optimization
  • Website maintenance and technical support
  • Third-party software and API integrations

The services included in each project will be defined in an agreed proposal, quotation, or service agreement.

Additional services or features outside the agreed scope may require separate fees and revised timelines.

2. Getting Started with Your Project

We believe creating a website should be a smooth and stress-free experience.

Clients do not need technical knowledge, completed website content, or a fully developed design concept before contacting MadeGeeks.

However, we require clients to provide sufficient information about their business, including:

  • The nature of their business and its operations
  • Products or services offered
  • Target customers or intended audience
  • Business goals and website requirements
  • Relevant branding, business details, and existing materials
  • Information about any required custom functionality

We use this information to plan, design, write content, and develop a website that reflects the client’s business.

MadeGeeks handles the technical and creative work, while clients remain responsible for providing accurate business information, giving necessary feedback, and approving important decisions.

3. Project Scope and Deliverables

Before work begins, MadeGeeks will establish the project’s scope, expected deliverables, estimated timeline, and pricing.

Any requests beyond the approved project scope, including additional pages, features, integrations, or major design changes, may be treated as additional work.

Such changes will be discussed and approved before any additional charges are incurred.

4. Project Timeline and Communication

Estimated project timelines depend on the complexity of the website, availability of required information, third-party services, and client feedback.

MadeGeeks will make reasonable efforts to follow agreed project schedules.

However, delays may occur due to circumstances such as:

  • Late submission of required business information
  • Delayed feedback or approvals
  • Additional project requirements
  • Issues involving hosting providers, domains, APIs, or other third-party services
  • Technical complications or events beyond our reasonable control

We will communicate significant delays and discuss any necessary adjustments to the project schedule.

5. AI-Assisted Development

MadeGeeks uses artificial intelligence and modern development tools to support website planning, research, design, content creation, coding, testing, and optimization.

AI helps streamline the development process, but it does not replace professional judgment or human oversight.

We review and refine AI-assisted outputs before incorporating them into client projects.

Clients acknowledge that AI-generated materials may occasionally require corrections, adjustments, or additional verification.

MadeGeeks does not guarantee that AI-assisted content will be entirely error-free or eligible for exclusive intellectual property protection.

We will not intentionally submit confidential client information to public AI tools without appropriate authorization and safeguards.

6. Content Accuracy and Client Responsibilities

MadeGeeks may draft website content based on information supplied by clients, including product descriptions, service pages, company information, and marketing copy.

Clients are responsible for verifying the accuracy of business-related information before final approval and publication.

This includes prices, product claims, certifications, licenses, legal disclosures, policies, and other information specific to their industry.

Clients must also ensure that any materials they provide, including logos, images, text, and documents, are owned by them or properly licensed for use.

MadeGeeks may request clarification or supporting information when necessary.

7. Payments and Fees

Project pricing and payment arrangements will be specified in the agreed quotation, proposal, or service agreement.

Work may begin once the required initial payment and necessary project information have been received.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Additional work outside the original scope may require separate payment.
  • Third-party charges, including hosting, domain registration, premium software, and subscription services, are not automatically included in the project fee.
  • Outstanding balances must be settled in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.
  • The final website transfer or launch may be subject to completion of agreed payment obligations.

Any payment disputes or adjustments will be handled in accordance with the applicable service agreement and governing law.

8. Revisions and Changes

MadeGeeks values client feedback and aims to deliver a website that meets the agreed requirements.

The number of revisions and the revision process will be outlined in the project agreement.

Revisions generally involve adjustments to work already included within the approved project scope.

Significant changes in design direction, website structure, functionality, or business requirements after approval may require additional fees and adjustments to the timeline.

9. Website Ownership and Intellectual Property

Upon full payment of all agreed project fees, clients will receive the ownership or usage rights to the final deliverables as specified in their service agreement.

Ownership transfer does not automatically include:

  • Third-party themes, plugins, or licensed software
  • Stock images, fonts, and other licensed assets
  • External tools, platforms, and subscription services
  • Proprietary development tools or reusable components owned by MadeGeeks
  • Third-party or AI-generated materials where exclusive ownership cannot legally be established

These materials remain subject to their respective licenses and applicable laws.

MadeGeeks retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, methods, templates, and proprietary intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Website Hosting, Domains, and Third-Party Services

Websites may require services provided by external companies, including hosting, domain registration, payment gateways, email providers, analytics platforms, and software subscriptions.

Unless explicitly included in the project agreement, clients are responsible for the associated third-party costs and account ownership.

MadeGeeks is not responsible for outages, policy changes, service discontinuation, or technical issues directly caused by third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.

We may assist in troubleshooting these issues when covered by the agreed scope of support.

11. SEO and Website Performance

MadeGeeks follows applicable SEO and website development best practices to improve website structure, accessibility, usability, performance, and search engine visibility.

However, search engine rankings and website traffic are influenced by many factors beyond our control.

Therefore, MadeGeeks does not guarantee specific Google rankings, traffic volumes, sales, conversions, or business revenue.

Likewise, website loading speeds and performance may vary depending on hosting infrastructure, internet connectivity, third-party scripts, and website content.

12. Website Testing and Launch

Before launching a website, MadeGeeks will perform reasonable testing appropriate to the agreed project scope.

Testing may include responsiveness, functionality, navigation, forms, browser compatibility, and other relevant features.

Clients may be asked to review and approve the completed website before launch.

Once approved, MadeGeeks may proceed with deployment according to the agreed launch arrangements.

No website or software system can be guaranteed to operate without interruptions, defects, or security vulnerabilities under all circumstances.

13. Maintenance and Technical Support

Ongoing website maintenance, updates, security monitoring, backups, and technical support are not automatically included unless specifically stated in the service agreement.

Support coverage, response expectations, and maintenance fees will be agreed upon separately when applicable.

MadeGeeks is not responsible for issues arising from unauthorized changes, unsupported third-party modifications, expired services, or inadequate maintenance after project handover, except where responsibility otherwise exists under applicable law.

14. Project Cancellation and Refunds

Clients may request project cancellation by contacting MadeGeeks in writing.

Refund eligibility will depend on the agreed service contract, the amount of work completed, expenses already incurred, and applicable consumer protection laws.

Where permitted by law, MadeGeeks may deduct reasonable charges for completed work and nonrecoverable expenses from any amount refundable to the client.

MadeGeeks may also suspend or terminate a project for material nonpayment, unlawful requests, or repeated failure to provide essential project information, subject to any applicable notice and contractual requirements.

Refunds and cancellations will not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

15. Confidentiality and Data Protection

MadeGeeks respects the privacy and confidentiality of information shared by clients.

We will take reasonable steps to protect confidential business information, project materials, access credentials, and personal information received during service delivery.

Personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.

Where project delivery involves third-party providers or AI-assisted services, relevant data handling arrangements will be considered before information is shared.

Clients should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information through general inquiry forms.

16. Portfolio and Project Showcase

MadeGeeks may request permission to feature completed projects in its portfolio, website, or promotional materials.

Confidential business information, sensitive project details, and private client data will not be intentionally disclosed for promotional purposes without appropriate authorization.

Any specific portfolio usage rights may be established separately in the client agreement.

17. Acceptable Website Use

Visitors must not use madegeeks.com for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activities.

Prohibited activities include attempting unauthorized access to website systems, distributing malicious software, interfering with website functionality, or submitting deceptive or unlawful content.

MadeGeeks reserves the right to take reasonable measures against misuse of its website.

18. Limitation of Liability

MadeGeeks will exercise reasonable care and skill in delivering its services.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MadeGeeks will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from factors outside its reasonable control, including third-party outages or business decisions made independently by clients.

Any contractual limitation of liability will be subject to the specific service agreement and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability or legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

19. Changes to These Terms

MadeGeeks may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in services, business practices, or legal requirements.

Updated terms will be published on this website with a revised effective date.

Changes will not automatically alter the terms of an existing signed project agreement unless agreed by the parties or otherwise permitted by law.

20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, subject to any mandatory legal protections and any different governing-law arrangement expressly agreed upon in a project contract.
